Legacy Support for Practice Management Software

At eTI, we recognize that, although many firms want to keep up with the latest and greatest technology, there are also a large percentage who feel that “if it ain’t broke, there’s no need to fix it.” We understand that there is a great deal of justified reluctance to move from the model of owning your own software to renting/subscribing to your programs.

Mike, an industrial automation master in Material Science, joined ellwood Technology Inc. as a system engineer in 2012. While on the job, Mike continued his education and developed skills in IT infrastructure technology and corporate cyber security.

He eventually took over as Operations Manager for Ellwood Technology IT division.

Mike is now eTI Partner, CEO, and Operations Manager; he leads a diverse and talented team. Under Mike’s leadership, eTI manages both small, simple IT environments and large, sophisticated operations that engage today’s most advanced technology across multiple data centers—all while adhering to the highest levels of digital security.

Lori is the senior executive in charge of eTI’s finances. Her duties include tracking cash flow and financial planning and analyzing the company’s areas of strength and weakness to identify business opportunities and propose corrective actions.

In 2020, Lori and her spouse Mike, along with eAI founder Steve Ellwood, took the IT division out of ellwood Associates to form a new business.

Under Lori’s leadership, eTI manages both small, simple IT environments and large, sophisticated operations that engage today’s most advanced technology across multiple data centers while adhering to the highest levels of digital security.

Mr. Ellwood is the founder and President of ellwood Evidence Inc. (eEI). Since eEI’s beginnings, Mr. Ellwood has built his business into a ‘best in class’ enterprise specializing in technology for the legal community in Canada. With his team of 15 consultants out of Toronto, Mr. Ellwood and eEI have served as the principal contractor or consultant on technology-related projects for over 200 large and small law firms, for government, and for corporate legal departments.
